Surgery Tools

MAGIC SAW

I still remember all the details of my first rhinoplasty surgery as the main operating doctor. It has been more than 25 years now but all memories are still very vivid. I had a very difficult osteotomy phase. Imagine opening up a nose with huge tools which are ready to break the bones even with a minimal touch. I told myself “this must be the hardest part of the surgery”

Over time, I figured that osteotomy was not the hardest phase, yet it was the most essential phase during the surgery. There are many tools invented and tried by surgeons throughout the history, however there are very limited number of effective tools which were very practical to care the patient at best.

Therefore, I started to make small changes on the available tools and observed the results over years. In the end, these changes resulted in a new set of tools – Magic Saw. These tools enabled me in many difficult cases to share the bone by carving but without breaking. These tools have made it much easier to create a sturdy and stable bone structure. Postoperative bruising and swellings became at very minimum number as well.

I would like help in anyway I can if any of my colleagues desire to have access to these tools.
